This is Luna and Diana//
This double portrait on wood plays with the Ancient Roman idea of the cat being a divine and mythical creature, sacred to the powerful moon goddess Diana. She was the goddess of the hunt, the moon and birthing, and had the ability of conversing with animals. Here they are pictured together in contemporary guises, contemplating the divine wonders of the universe.
