About Fruzsi
Fruzsi is an Adelaide-based artist, known for her quirky lady portraits on wood, freshly returned from Tokyo. She carefully hand-crafts all of her works from her city studio and spends her time reading books and patting cats

Fruzsi grew up in the small town of Szeged in the south of Hungary, and remembers drawing little people and writing stories from a very young age. Her greatest literary materpiece revolved around rock and its moss, and their intimate and exciting conversations. She and her parents then spent two great years living in Holland before embarking on the long trip to Australia. She was 11 when she arrived in Adelaide, which she now calls home.

Fruzsi has just returned from a year in Tokyo, and is in the process of opening her own studio/ shop in collaboration with Brick + Mortar Collective in Norwood, Adelaide. Opening mid- April 2015.

When Fruzsi is not at the studio, she is probably baking vegan treats, riding her bicycle, or spending quality time with her beloved furry cat Jessie.
